Bay County Department on Aging is dedicated to providing continued opportunities for the 60 and better population within our community by maintaining independence, offering social opportunities, and enhancing their lives through quality services in a cost-effective manner.
I wanted to bring to your attention a "scam" that is going around using Department on Agings old name.
We had a client call us yesterday that received a call from a restricted number stating that the were from "Division on Aging"
and asked if they received a letter in the mail because they won a prize.
If you receive this call please know that at NO time does Department on Aging give out anyone's personal information
or would use the term Division on Aging or that that they won a prize.
This is a scam and they are to hang up on the caller.
